THE VILLAGE OF PEYCHINOVO
Peychinovo is a village in north Bulgaria and located in the municipality of Byala district of Ruse.
Peychinovo is located on the european road E83 Ruse-Pleven-Sofia.
The village is near the Yantra river. The river is great for fishing and has a fishing school. The river is convenient for kayaking as well. The part suitable for this sport starts from the town of Byala and ends at the mouth of the Danube river.
Through Byala railway station the village is connected to the Ruse-Gorna Oryahovitsa railroad.
There is a regular bus service to the village.
The village has electricity, water supply and a couple of shops. There is a post office, a community centre, a church, a stadium and commercial areas. The nearest education and medical centres are in the neighbouring town of Byala.
The population is approximately 255 people.
The village of Peychinovo (known as Burumlii until 1934) has existed for five centuries in the heart of the Danube plain between Veliko Tarnovo and Ruse.
A book about the history of the village has been published. The author has dedicated more than ten years to researching and collecting materials about the past and present. In the book the author outlines the most important moments of the collective life of the people of the village: political and economic development, way of life and customs, peculiarities of Peichinov's speech, folk traditions and beliefs.

MUNICIPALITY OF BYALA
Byala municipality is a municipality in the district of Ruse - central north Bulgaria located in the Danubian plain about 12 miles southeast of Danube river.
It is named after the administrative centre – the town of Byala.
The population in the municipality is about 14,962 inhabitants.
The area is crossroads of some of the main directions in the country – road E85, road E83, I-51 and I-52 which connect the province centre of Ruse with the cities of Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven, Svishtov and the country capital of Sofia and Shipka pass.
The Yantra river flows through the area from south to north.
Some of the well known landmarks in the municipality are the historical museum in Byala and the Byala bridge.
The museum in Byala is a municipal cultural institute comprising of five departments – nature, art, acheology and numismatics, ethnography, new and recent history.
The historical museum in Byala presents events related to the Russian-Turkish War of Liberation. The two-storey building of the museum, once functioning as a Turkish dwelling, carries the Revival spirit and is the work of Bulgarian masters. The Byala bridge is situated at the northeastern part of the town of Byala, district of Ruse. It was built over the Yantra river in 1865-1867 on the orders of Mithat Pasha, Vali of the Danube Vilayet. The construction was necessitated by the new road crossing the Yantra river at the town of Byala that connected Ruse, the main town of the Danube Vilayet, with Tsargrad, the capital of the Ottoman Empire.

Part of the valley was proclaimed a Natural Park. The park is located at about 20 km to the south-west from Ruse.
