Top tip- For free medical treatment in Bulgaria take a valid GHIC card. Citizens of the UK are entitled to free medical, dental and hospital treatment in Bulgaria, under a reciprocal healthcare agreement between the two countries. To access healthcare, you will need a UK passport and NHS card. UK citizens must pay for medicines.
Top Tip- Have a survey completed on the property you are interested in buying. This is very cheap in Bulgaria and Emerge can arrange this for you.
Top Tip- Read at least one book about Bulgaria and the area you wish to purchase in before you travel. This will give you a better understanding of the culture and important points of concern such as medical care.
