Danube Army 1877") was opened on 4th of September 1907 in the village of Gorna Studena. Visitors to the museum see original weapons and documents provided by the Russian command specifically for the museum.
Curious fact - Studena Point in the Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago -Antarctica is named after the Gorna and Dolna Studena villages.
Gorna Studena is located next to the main road Sofia - Pleven / Ruse - Sofia / Pleven - Veliko Tarnovo.

The Svishtov Municipality is situated in the northernmost part of Veliko Tarnovo District
and borders through the Danube River the Republic of Romania plus the following municipalities:

This is the southernmost point of the Danube river and is the shortest way from the Danube River through Stara Planina and the Valley of Maritsa River to the Aegean Sea.

The Historical Veliko Tarnovo located on the famous "Yantra River"
(the 3rd longest Bulgarian tributary of the Danube River) is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Bulgaria.
Situated at the foot of the Stara Planina Mountains in north central Bulgaria the area attracts many tourists due to the unique architecture and history. The houses stacked one above the other situated on the hills of the city have a remarkable and unique architectural style.
