The village of Bregare is in northern Bulgaria. The location is in the municipality of Dolna Mitropolia - Pleven district.
The village is 13 miles northwest of the municipal centre of Dolna Mitropoliya and 19 miles from the regional centre of Pleven and 25 miles southeast of the town of Oryahovo.
It borders with the village of Orehovitsa and the village of Stavertsy to the west. The villages Ostrov / Dolni Vadin / Krushovene are neighbouring villages.
The village has a population of over 600 people.
The village has a good infrastructure and two well maintained parks.
Roman coins, ornaments and a tombstone have been found in the village. The village of Bregare stretches over a cultural layer of a medieval settlement.
In 2017 a museum of the village was founded and built directly next to the Orthodox church “St. Archangel Michael “in the so-called” upper park “. On the wall of the museum there is a memorial plaque with the names of the dead from the Balkan and World War.
The village is approximately 109 miles from the capital city Sofia & the international Sofia airport

The municipality of Dolna Mitropolia includes 16 settlements – 2 towns and 14 villages. The location is only 7 miles from the city of Pleven.
The population of the municipality of Dolna Mitropoliya is approximately 20 879 people.
Some of the largest landmarks in the municipality are: the settlement of Selishte, Ulpia Eskus, Kailaka Zoo and the Fortress Storgozia
Kailaka Zoo located near to Pleven is in a protected area. The animals live in natural caves. There are about 140 animals and a total of 28 species.
Fortress Storgozia is located in the Kailaka park in the town of Pleven. The ancient settlement originates from the Roman empire and was built on the site of an earlier Thracian settlement. The archeological finds from storgozia and the necropolis, such as ceramics, weapons and coins show that the settlement lasted until the end of the 6th century.
